Hello,

The heat cycle in a dog can last from 2-4 weeks. It should not be painful like menstruation often is in humans. I would advise against giving tylenol to dogs, as its effects generally range from ineffective to toxic in the canine species. If she is in pain, I'd recommend having her seen by her veterinarian to determine the cause and a better treatment.
I hope this is helpful. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
