No worries. There is a wide safetly margin with the amount of dewormer a pet can have in one sitting. Olive will be just fine with the dewormer and heartworm prevention given at the same time. : ) In fact we give heartworm prevention and bi-annual dewormers together all the time. You are correct that you want to make sure that Harper Grace does not miss her heartworm medication. All heartworm medications are tested to be safe when given in conjunction with antibiotics. Although both are oral heart worm and intestinal parasite preventatives and typically speaking, giving two heart worm preventatives together or within a short amount of time is not recommended, combining these two preventatives together accidentally one week apart should not result in a negative reaction. Yes, it is safe to give those medications together - and both are necessary if she has a bacterial cause of her cough in addition to a giardia infection. Medication is dosed according to weight, so the amount of medication she is receiving should be appropriate for her size. Hope this helps!

Fortunately, those drugs do not typically interact negatively with each other and theoretically should not cause any issue. I would monitor for any vomiting, inappetence, excessive sedation, incoordination, etc. for 24 hours but wouldn't anticipate that you would see any signs. If you are concerned or she begins acting abnormally, I would recommend reaching out to your regular veterinarian or ASPCA poison control for further advice.
