My dog is bobbing head, not eating/drinking after ingesting powder?

It sounds like he needs immediate care if he is not eating, he is lethargic and may have a fever. This sounds like a serious condition that needs to be addressed sooner rather than later. Your veterinarian will perform a full physical exam and determine what additional testing may need to be done (xrays, bloodwork) to give you a better idea of what treatments are needed. Good luck.

There can be many medical causes for decreased appetite, decreased thirst and lethargy. There is really nothing that can be done for at home for this without getting a diagnosis first from Bobo's veterinarian. I would recommend he see his veterinarian asap for an exam and evaluation. He may need blood work, x-rays, or other diagnostics as needed. I hope this helps!

Vomiting can be observed with conditions such as gastroenteritis, pancreatitis, dietary indiscretion, gastrointestinal foreign body ingestion and obstruction, among other possibilities. For this reason, I highly recommend that you have her evaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment and treatment as soon as possible as I am afraid she is likely becoming dehydrated. They would be able to check for these possibilities and also check her hydration status and give her medications to make her feel better. Good luck!

However, regardless of what caused these symptoms, I would recommend having a veterinarian examine her. She may be dehydrated and in need of fluids, which the veterinarian can evaluate her for. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I am concerned that because he vomited so many times and had diarrhea, he could be very dehydrated. Also, mushrooms can result in liver toxicity in dogs that tends to be significant. Even if he vomited some of it, there is still likely some left in his system. I think it would be best to have him evaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. They would be able to check some basic lab work to check for signs of liver toxicity and treat accordingly. Good luck and have a great day!

Possibilities are many including pancreatitis, a toxicity, an infection, among many others. Hi there! Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! It is concerning that Bobot has not been eating for the past 2 days, especially if he has been peeing blood. This could be due to a urinary tract infection, urinary tract stones, urinary tract tumor, among many other possibilities. I recommend that you have Bobot evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. At the very least, he can be started on medications to make him feel better. Good luck!
