There is decent size lump under my dogs eye, on the lower lid. He's had it since he was a little poopers. It's pretty hard, though i havnt pressed or squeezed it very much since it's in a sensitive area. He dosnt seem to notice it and it dosnt bother him that I'm aware. Just curious if it's something that can just continued to be monitored or if a vet visit is mandatory?

Since it has come up suddenly, I would get it checked by your vet to be safe. Older dogs will develop skin tags and warts and that could be what this growth is, but it's better to have it checked soon and have it be nothing serious than wait.
