My dog's hair is falling out despite shampoo, what can I do?

To help the hair coat reach it's potential (you can not change genetics) feed a high quality commercial dog food (no people food), supplement with Omega 3 fish oils, brush the coat daily, deworm regularly if exposed to the outdoors and bath with a moisturizing shampoo as needed. I am not sure if Bee is losing hair, has balding areas or if you are just hoping for something different but you can always post a picture or provide details on what is going on with his coat. Based on the pictures, it appears that Kalo may have a severe skin infection (bacteria, fungus or parasites). If this began right when you started the shampooing, I would recommend discontinuing the shampoo. I have seen some amazing results with this product, which can be found online quite easily. I've seen shedding and dandruff drastically reduce in dogs on this supplement. I hope this helps! Hello. Delta probably has some type of allergy. I would start her on a good omega 3 fatty acid supplement such as Bayer's Free Form snip tips or Nordic naturals, both available at Chewy.com. This would be a good start & if it continues, please consider seeing you vet to make sure there are no other underlying problems or conditions with your pet. If there is no improvement or in the meantime this appears to be getting worse, have him evaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. Good luck and have a good night!

Hello. If your veterinarian has not checked Moka's thyroid levels, then yes this needs to be looked at. Otherwise, this is a good fatty acid supplement, but it can take 6-8 weeks to see results after a supplement is started. If this does not work, she may need some additional testing. You may want to try the Douxo products, namely Douxo Calm Shampoo which can be purchase through your veterinarian or online pet store retailer. You can also try using a fish oil supplement as well. Fish oil is wonderful for coat and skin health. If these don't seem to help or Midnight's skin becomes worse, I would recommend she sees her veterinarian. I hope this helps!
