Why does my dog foam at the mouth at the dog park? Is it normal?

It's very common for dogs to have a bit of foam on their tongue or near their mouth if they have been running and playing hard - this happens because they are panting hard during exercise, which dries out their mouth and makes their saliva thicker, causing it to look foamy. As long as Mia is acting normal otherwise, this should not be any cause for concern :)

It is also possible that his teeth are causing him discomfort and leading to the foam that you are noticing. If he is otherwise acting normally I would recommend continuing to monitor this problem. How cute is Buddy! It is possible that Buddy may have came in to contact with a bug, frog/toad, or some foreign material in his mouth while he was sniffing underneath the bush that caused him to foam at the mouth. Some frogs or bugs will release an irritating substance when they feel threatened by a predator; this can cause excessive salivation and "foaming" if it comes in to contact with the mouth. Typically these are harmless, but there are some toxic toads (i.e. Bufo toad)depending on your location. There is the potential that Buddy could have been stung by an insect that caused these signs, too. Since Buddy was back to normal by the time you arrived home, I would suspect it was harmless. I would just keep a close eye on Buddy when he is nosing around the bushes again.

Yes, that is normal especially in dogs like Boxers with larger jowls (cheek pouches). There is not anything you can do to stop it. It is just from him taking in all the smells - it's overstimulating his senses. Nothing to worry about.

They can also drool a lot if there is bad dental disease, or a laceration in the mouth. It's best to have a good look in Bella's mouth and see if you can detect anything out of the ordinary. It's also good to gently flush out her mouth (can use a hose for this) with water for a minute or two. If she happens to cough, then this indicates you are flushing too hard, or too much. No, this isn't normal. Foaming around the mouth can be a sign of nausea, poisoning, difficulty swallowing, poor dental hygiene, and even rabies. If Tucky is vaccinated for rabies, then it is extremely unlikely that would be a cause of the hyper salivation. Licking the lips is also a sign of nausea. I recommend withholding food for 12-24 hours, then feed a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) and white rice in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in his normal diet. If he continues to foam at the mouth in the absence of food, on the bland diet, or becomes lethargic he will need to see a vet.
