What are the best flea preventives besides collars or shampoo?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 3 years old | 20 lbs

Hello. What flea treatment do you recommend? I don't want to use collars. I already have shampoo but I also want a preventive. Thank you in advance!

Here is a selection of preventives:
Spot-ons and/or chews:
Advantage, Advantix
Advantage Multi
Frontline (ticks as well)
Bravecto spot on (ticks as well) - for cats, in tablet form for dogs
Simparica, Nexgard
Revolution
