What happens if flea drops accidentally get into my dog's ear?

No need to worry at this point. If it did get inside Axel will probably shake it out. If it wasn’t dead it will crawl out, and if it’s dead the tiny hairs inside you dog’s ear will help it get pushed out with the ear wax. If he starts shaking his head excessively or pawing at the ear then I would take him in for your veterinarian to look inside and see if there is anything there. If Bruno is scratching his ears and shaking his head it does not point to flea infestation but rather an ear infection with either mites, bacteria or a fungus. You will need to take Bruno to your veterinarian for an ear exam and then treatment for the cause of the itch and shake. Treatment will depend on the cause (acaricide for mites, antibiotic for bacterial infection, fungicide for fungal infection )

It appears that the opening to the ear canal is swollen, which tells me that there must be something irritating inside the ear canal. Usually this type of swelling is due too a long-standing ear infection and the swelling doesn't go down easily. You can try flushing the ear and/or putting some ear drops in there to give some relief. However, an ear that swollen may not be easily flushed and it would be best to have a veterinarian look in the ear to see exactly what the problem is. I would be more concerned that Myna has an ear infection not just ear mites. Ear mites are not that common in dogs, although can happen. I recommend taking Myna to a veterinarian and letting them check her ears to see if there is an infection. If they are concerned about ear mites they can check under the microscope for them. That is not normal but it could happen as ear canal skin is probably inflamed and more sensitive (so it can bleed more easily). I would recommend to monitor it and if bleeding every time you apply the drops, to have it checked by your local vet to make sure there is nothing more serious (like a small tumor or polyp for example) inside the canal. The bumps on Lilly's ears could be insect bites from fleas or mosquitoes. Since they aren't red and don't seem to be bothering her, other allergies or skin infections are less likely. Make sure she is receiving a high quality flea and tick preventative (such as Nexgard, Bravecto or Advantix) once a month. If mosquitoes are a concern, Advantix claims to repel mosquitoes unlike the other products. Closely monitor her ears for changes and if this condition persists or worsens, take her to the vet for an exam.
