What's causing my dog's fever, nosebleed, not eating, and cough?

Hello, sorry to hear about Kyro. Dogs with bleeding from the nose could be from different causes. Yes trauma is an option but it sounds like you did. It witness any trauma immediately before the bleeding started. So it sounds like that may not be the cause. An infection or even inflammation can indeed be cause. Other causes such as a foreign object stuck in his nose can also be likely in dogs. And finally a clotting disorder. If you see any persistent bleeding or bruising in he belly or gums then I would be most concerned with a clotting disorder and you should have you dog evaluated immediately. Otherwise, continue the antibiotic that was prescribed and have him evaluated at your best convinience. Hope this helps and best of luck.

Based on your description I'd be concerned about an infectious disease or cancer, but I'm assuming many diseases have already been ruled out if Gato has seen four veterinarians. If Gato has not been to see an internal medicine specialist I would recommend asking your regular veterinarian about a referral. Poor Daisy! She is an older girl, and unfortunately this sneezing with blood in her snot could be due to a malignant growth (cancer) in her nasal cavity. It could also be due to a foreign body, fungal infection, or respiratory infection. Because this has been ongoing for a while, it's best that Daisy is seen by a vet either today or tomorrow. The vet can do a physical exam, blood tests, urinalysis, x-rays, and may look up her nasal cavity with an endoscope to diagnose what is causing her symptoms. Once a cause is found, the vet can discuss treatment options with you.

To know if Biggie has a fever you need to take his temperature rectally with a digital thermometer. A fever in a dog is anything over 102.5 F. There are many causes for a poor appetite: Viral infection, foreign body, fever from infection or inflammation, intestinal parasites (the eggs are microscopic and can not be seen in the stool unless adult worms are passed), pain and many many other causes. Try taking Biggie's temperature. If he has a fever I recommend making an appointment today with your Vet. I hope this helps and I wish Biggie a speedy recovery!

Yes, I would be very concerned if Bruiser gagged up a clot of blood, and I would take him into a vet now. It's not normal for a dog to cough up blood, and he could have a severe respiratory infection, a foreign body, or he could have cancer in his lungs. A vet can do a physical exam, routine blood tests, a urinalysis, and possible x-rays to see that is causing him to gag up blood, and can treat accordingly. Please take him to a vet now.
