How much and what should I feed my dog: Pedigree, chicken, rice, milk?

Updated on September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Male | unneutered | 10 years and 11 months old

How much and how many times a day should we feed them? We are feeding him with rice and chicken mix cooked twice a day. Can we give pedigree and milk in the evening?

Chicken and rice is not a balanced diet for a dog. I would feed your dogs the Pedigree only, twice a day, once in the morning and once at night. The bag of dog food will have a daily recommended allotment of food, and divide that into two equal portions. Do not give them milk, dairy causes GI upset in dogs. Best of luck.
