Why is my dog falling over, not eating, and acting unlike himself?

Hello. I am sorry that Toby isn't feeling well. Shaking, not acting like themselves, and being unsettled are signs of pain and discomfort. If the shaking is the whole body, and more like tremors (uncontrolled and continuous) then this is very serious and associated with signs of a neuro-toxin. I would suggest having Toby seen by your vet, or an emergency 24 hour clinic if your vet isn't open. It could be that Toby just ate something that has upset his stomach and he is painful, however there could be something very serious going on. Toby is experiencing very general symptoms of disease, these symptoms could fit almost any internal condition, maybe he is suffering from nausea due to a gastrointestinal disease and maybe he is in pain, from the symptoms described it's very hard to know. i would recommend taking him to the vet as soon as possible in order to get him checked, if he doesn't show any other obvious symptoms during the examination, a blood test and possibly an ultrasound will be needed in order to try and find out what is wrong with Toby.

Oh that's not good that Toby isn't eating or acting like himself. He could be nauseous, eating something rotten, or could have dental problems causing the drooling and anorexia among other causes. The congestion could be caused by a respiratory disease, cardiac disease, or even cancer if it's spread to his lungs. I would monitor him tonight. Should he still not be eating in the morning, and is still drooling and sounding congested, I would have him seen by a vet for a health check.
