My dog's ears are red and warm. She is not responding to any instructions. Has she become deaf because of an ear infection? Can this deafness be cured?

Hello. Has any medications been placed in the ears? This is the primary reason for deafness in pets. Only your veterinarian can determine if there is an ear infection or something else going on with Angel. Even though she is eating & drinking normally, she may just be a little unwell. If you can have her examined, you vet will look deep into the ears to make sure the ear drum is intact & there are no obvious signs of infection or inflammation. I hope all is well with Angel soon & thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
