I've been noticing lately that our dog's coat isn't quite as healthy looking as I'd like. She's had more hair falling out than usual and I've noticed some dandruff. I am thinking her food isn't giving her all the nutrients she needs but due to recent circumstances, we don't have the funds to buy premium dog food. What are some more cost effective alternatives to help her coat be healthier? I've read tuna is good, and if so, how much/often?

Before adding tuna to her diet, you might try something called Omega 3 Fatty Acids. These are great for many things including her coat. Youre absolutely right, diet can be a huge part of coat health. However, if you notice any improvement, you may need to have her evaluated for an underlying skin condition. Hope this helps!!!
