Husky's nose is dry/peeling and she's sneezing. Is she okay?

Poor Cali! It is possible that her nasal passages are simply irritated from her sneezing yesterday as a result of an underlying infection or allergies. However, it is also possible that her nasal bleeding (epistaxis) could be due to more sinister fungal infections, nasal cavity tumors, parasites, or blood clotting disorders. He will likely need to see his veterinarian. I suspect that he has a respiratory infection and will likely require an antibiotic. In the meantime, encourage him to eat and drink. You can try running a hot shower and letting the steam build up in the bathroom. Then let him in the bathroom for a bit. Breathing the humid air can lessen his congestion. The reasons for sudden nose bleeds in dogs include trauma, polyps / cysts in the nose, sinus infections, certain types of cancers, or bleeding disorders that affect the body's ability to clot. If the bleeding was occurring only out of one nostril, it is more likely that you are dealing with something like a mass/cyst or a traumatic event. Huskies were bred in an arctic environment, and thus, are capable of living outside in even the harshest of cold weather. They do not generally do well living in very warm climates if they are forced to be outside for long periods of time. Hope this makes sense.

However if the panting and coughing is continuous and not seen during these particular instances, and if it i has been going on for more than 3-4 days with no improvement, then he could have an upper respiratory infection which generally is easily treated with a short course of antibiotics. If there is no nasal discharge, coughing, lethargy, etc then I would not be overly worried about just sneezing. I suggest you video her doing the behavior and then take her to the vet for an exam. Show them the video in case she doesn't sneeze during the exam. It could be allergies, it could be reverse sneezing, it could be a piece of grass or something up in her nose.

Periodic sneezing can just be a sign of allergic rhinitis, especially if he is otherwise eating well and behavior hasn't changed. Contact your vet to see if there are some antihistamines that can be tried for now, then continue to monitor him to see if the sneezing improves over the next few days.
