My dog's toe is dislocated. Can I safely pop it back in myself?

I would recommend restricting his exercise as much as possible to give the affected paw a chance to heal - short leash walks to potty only, no running or jumping. If the paw looks red and seems sore, you can also try soaking it in warm water and Epsom salts to help with the soreness and irritation. If you are not seeing any improvement in the next 2-3 days, or if he is non-weightbearing on the affected paw or seems very painful, then I would recommend taking him to the vet for an exam. He/she can take x-rays if needed to help determine the problem, and can also prescribe safe and effective pain medication to make him more comfortable.

Poor Romeo. I would advise to not wrap the toe. I have seen too many owners who applied the wrap too tightly and caused damage to the foot by cutting off the blood supply. I do recommend to significantly restrict his activity. He should not be allowed to walk around the house, go for walks, climb up and down on furniture or run or jump.
