Cut my dog while grooming, no bleeding, applied Neosporin. Is she OK?

I think applying a triple antibiotic like Neosporin twice daily for 7-10 days would be a good idea. This may make Zelda to be itchy. Small cuts can certainly heal without additional measures. Preventing licking is the first step! I would change the bandage daily. You want to make sure that the wound stays dry. This will also allow you to reapply the Neosporin and check for signs of infection. Signs of infection include swelling, reddness around the cut, or a creamy white or yellow discharge. If you see any of these things or if Kadi develops a limp, then she needs to see a vet for additional medications.

If you can rest her and keep the area clean, then the neosporin is a good option to see if it will scab over or dry up. If it continues to bleed or gets larger then you have to make a visit to the vet.

It looks like the wart just got inflamed or traumatized. I would not worry about it. Cleaning it and applying Neosporin is perfect! Great job! I would recommend clipping and cleaning the area as you can't really see much with all the fur, then apply antibiotic cream on it 2-3 times a day. if it doesn't get any better within 72 hours i would recommend taking her to your vet to get ti treated.

No, just keep an eye on it for now. To keep Winnie from licking at it, you can put an Ecollar on him. You can get one at a pet store or make one at home. Keep the wound clean and dry, and monitor it for signs of infection. If you see redness, swelling, warmth to the touch, or pus, then it is infected and she will need to see the vet for antibiotics to treat it. I hope this helps.
