My year and a half old dog suffers from epilepsy. Usually he had seizures with approx. 3 week intervals. But a week ago, he started to have very violent cluster seizures. It went on for three days and we took him to a clinic where they put him under anesthesia and let him sleep for 24 hrs. Yesterday he woke up but he won't move, he threw up, they have him on an IV drip. Is this the recovery process or does it mean permanent brain damage? Should we put him down and how long to wait before we do?
