What dog breeds can I mix with a Maltese for all-white puppies?

If you want to know more of an accurate determination, there are DNA tests that you can do such as the Wisdom Panel which are not expensive that will tell you what breed of dogs Snowball consists of.

Small dogs can live up to 15 years of age, with some dogs living up to 18 or even 20. It truly depends on any underlying health conditions and how they are managed. In general, mixed breed dogs tend to be somewhat less susceptible to hereditary conditions. However, maltese can be predisposed to heart conditions such as valve abnormalities, ocular conditions such as glaucoma, and allergies. Terriers are a very broad category of breeds, but typically have the same predispositions. Please note that just because a dog is predisposed to something, does not mean that it will have the condition at any point in life. The fact you got 2 black puppies when mating 2 white Pomeranians means somewhere in the lines of either one or both parents had black coated relatives. What you see isn’t always what you get with genes. That’s why 2 brown eyed people sometimes have a blue eyed baby. I hope this helps!

He is being advertised as a "malti-poo" which is a cross between a maltese and a poodle. It appears that could indeed be what he is. I would caution you slightly about purchasing a pet over Craigslist... you just need to be aware of what you are getting in terms of health. Ask questions about the veterinary care he's already received (vaccines, deworming, etc). Its also odd that they say that he's a male, but then go on to refer to the puppy as "she." I would expose Molly to other small dogs first as a trial to see if she will tolerate a new house mate. Maybe try a foster situation or offer to pet sit a friends small breed dog. I think either breed would compliment a Yorkie but you can't predict personality conflicts! I wish you the best!

Hi and thank you for your question on PetCoach! From the pictures (cute by the way), I would say Eli may be a Bichon Frise or Bichon Frise mix. You can find out exactly what Eli is through genetic testing. It is a little expensive but is interesting and that way you can know for sure.
