My dog has a bluish bump that keeps refilling with clear liquid.

Based on the picture it looks like Marley has a small cyst. Cyst will fill out with clear fluid but can also have different color fluid. Cyst are typically non cancerous and nothing to be concerned about. However you should never decide what a mass is based only on looks. Some cancerous masses can look like anything for example mast cells tumors. I would recommend taking Marley to a vet for an aspirate of the mass. The vet can look at the cells under a microscope and tell you what the cause it and if it should be surgically removed. hope that helps

It could be that this lump on his front leg is a cyst, but if it's preventing him from running and going on long walks without limping, it should be removed surgically. I would speak to the vet about possibly doing this for the lump. As for the new lump, that should be examined by a vet as well and a sample of the fluid should be examined to see if it is a cyst, benign tumor, or malignant tumor. If it's a cyst, then it can be removed as well surgically.

Typically there is no concern with these other than the fact that they are unsightly for some pet owners. This is something that could be removed under sedation if you would like it removed.

They are clear because there is fluid in them. You can have the cyst drained but they tend to fill back up. You can discuss removing it with your Vet, if the cyst is smaller than 8 mm maybe they can remove it with lidocaine. I hope this helps and I wish Toby the best!

The cyst is likely what we call a fluid filled cyst. It is a benign sac of fluid. The fluid is produced by the cells lining the sac, so even when we drain the fluid, those cells will create more fluid and the cyst will refill. They can grow slowly over time, but generally they will stay fairly small. If Bella is under anesthesia for another reason (such as a dental cleaning), you may discuss having the cyst surgically removed with your veterinarian. It looks to be a small cyst. I would just leave it alone. It is only a cosmetic blemish. It is not causing any harm. If you want it off of her then you need to have your vet remove it as that will be a surgical procedure. That is not really necessary unless it is bothering her. If you try to "pop" it , it will just come back and you may introduce infection into the cyst and cause an abscess. Really, no treatment is needed. Just leave it alone. Hope this helps. Best wishes.

The picture that attached looks like a fluid filled cyst (pocket of fluid). If so this is not concerning. Marley may scratch it and it could burst. Also not concerning but it may fill back up. The only way to cure a cyst is to surgically remove it. Discuss your options with your vet. Good luck and kisses to Marley!
