Hi. Just wondering if you can offer some advice. My dogs eyelid was swollen last week. Took her to vet. Vet said blepharitis put her on anti biotic and eye ointment. Doesn't seem to be working and tonight noticed it's now affecting the other eye as well. Wondering what could be the cause? I was it daily but it's now onto other eye. Should she be on antihistamine instead of antibiotics? Cause there not working. Below is a picture of here eyes.

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Poor Abby!
With out seeing a picture I can't be very specific but she could be suffering from an allergic reaction (allergy from something outside or an insect or spider bite) or blepharitis.
If the swelling has worsened on the ointment then I recommend stopping it. I would have her rechecked tomorrow and consider a steroid taper of prednisone.
If you want to re-post with a picture I can try to help better! I wish you and Abby the best!
