Puppy's gums cut by dog bite. Does she need an emergency vet?

I am definitely concerned about Huerra's bite wounds. The wounds on her leg look deep, and I always recommend flushing and exploring bite wounds under sedation since often there is even more damage under the surface. I would recommend seeing an emergency veterinarian. They would be able to prescribe pain medication and antibiotics to prevent infection as well.

It's serious that there is a lot of blood coming out of her mouth, and this tooth will be extremely painful, which would be why she isn't eating or drinking. Oh, poor Ellie. Yes, I do think she should be seen by an emergency veterinarian. Most bite wounds will get infected, so much better to prevent it then having her get sick. Also, I am solute that she wound be much more comfortable with some pain medications. Speaking from experience, bite wounds hurt and even more so the day after! Pain medications meant for humans can be very dangerous (and even deadly) for dogs, so I do not recommend giving any to your pup without consulting with your vet.

I would bring him to your vet to have him sedated and his mouth examined. Your vet may also recommend a dental X-ray to make sure no teeth have been cracked by biting the pipe which may need to be removed to prevent a tooth root or gum infection.
