Dog stung by bee, Benadryl not helping, now has welts. Vet needed?

Pet's info: Dog | Boston Terrier | Female | spayed | 14 lbs

My 14 LB Boston Rerrier was stung at least 3 times by yellow jackets at 8:30 this morn. I gave her 2 Benadryl which seemed to help. now she is developing welps and favoring a leg she was stung on. She I take her to vet?

Hi there. Sorry this happened to Daisy.

Yes, I would take her to a vet. It sounds like she is getting worse and not better. The vet will give her something stronger than Benadryl that will stop the reaction. You already gave her a pretty high dose of Benadryl for her size so if that isn't working it likely is not going to. It is better to be safe than sorry!
