My dog's back legs gave out suddenly, then she was fine. What happened?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed

My dog is 8 yrs old n today suddenly her both back legs started limping n she seemed to loose balance n sat down immediately.then she was unable to even stand up n her back legs were shaking while sitting n her both front legs got folded as in a paralytic attack.n her face also slightly tilted.she was trying to stand up but all her legs were not workng.but after few minutes she was walking n running again as usual.what can b this?can it b distemper or nervous system breakdown?she is fine now.

No, this is not distemper or a "nervous break down". It is either weakness from an underlying orthopedic issue or mild seizure activity. Since she is back to normal I suggest you just monitor her for now. If it happens again then you should video tape the episode to show your vet what she is doing as she should be examined by your vet.
