My dog has a back injury, bleeding, and seems sad. Is it an emergency?

However if the oozing is not abundant and doesn't seem to be continuous, Zeus may be ok to be seen first thing in the morning.

Poor Zeus! If he is that painful even with home treatment I would bring him into your vet now. It is possible there is an injury that requires stronger treatment or care such as a sprain, pinched nerve, muscle sprain, broken bone, etc, so a vet visit would be best to figure out the cause and help Zeus feel better. Hello, I'm not sure where the blood is coming from but in general, blood of any type is concerning because it means there is a problem with injury, inflammation or the skin/mucus membranes. You may try reposting on here with more details or I recommend to have Zeus examined by the veterinarian. I hope this helps.
