My dog ate Vitamin D capsules. Should I be worried about toxicity?

Hi my sons 9 month old boxer bitch has eaten 6 or 7 of my fultium d3 800 unit capsules Should I be worried I'm looking after his dogs and don't no what to do.

I would recommend making the dog vomit. You can try hydrogen peroxide at home or take him to a vet for them to induce vomiting. Usually dogs will vomit if they ingested the pills in the last hour or two. Fultium is a vit D supplement. My concerns is that it might decrease the Calcium released by the body and interfere with the hyperparathyroid gland. If you cannot get her to vomit I would recommend taking her to a vet. It is very important to monitor her for eating,drinking, defecating and seizure activity. IF at any time she is acting abnormal or not herself I would highly recommend taking her to a vet.
