My 70lb dog ate Vitamin D gummies. Should I worry about 2000 IU?

Hello My dad ingested 2 gummy vitamin ds and the serving size is 2 gummies at 2000IU and I was wondering if I should be worried about her eating the vitamins that she ate and she is about 70lbs

The amount of Vitamin D ingested will likely not put a dog of her weight at risk of serious toxicity. Make sure the gummies do not contain xylitol. That would be more dangerous than the Vitamin D. If they contain xylitol,seek veterinary attention immediately. Xylitol is toxic to dogs. It may cause a dangerous drop in blood sugar levels. If the gummies do not have xylitol, the worst you may see is some minor stomach upset.
