My dog ate a Tylenol pill. Is it an emergency for a small dog?

Updated on September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Jack Russell Terrier | Male | unneutered | 7 months and 8 days old | 0 lbs

My dog bit open a paracetamol capsule (500mg, I believe). He's only 3.5kgs. Would this be harmful? It was only a few minutes ago.

Did he just bite it open, or did he also ingest the content? If he also ingested the content, you should take Koda to your vet right away where they can make her regurgitate her stomach contents and with it hopefully the ingested Paracetamol. And you need to go to a vet now.
