My dog this morning chewed his toy and ate some of the stuffing in it, I think this made his stomach upset and he threw up all his food he had eaten the first time and just stomach acid the second. He hasn’t thrown up since but I read I should fast him so his stomach can rest. I just wanted to know if he’ll be okay and how long I should fast time or if his toy stuffing can be digested

Poor guy. I would recommend fasting him for 12 hrs and then try feeding him a small portion of his regular food or a bland diet of boiled plain chicken and rice or cottage cheese in small portions for the next few days, then slowly transition him back to his normal diet. Hopefully this is a one time incident and he doesn't need further care from your vet.
Best wishes with Louie moving forward and I hope his vomiting doesn't continue. Take care!
