My dog ate spaghetti with garlic. Should I be worried about toxicity?

I am sorry to hear about Snickers! Luckily an ingestion of this size is not a real concern for toxicity, so I would not worry about him eating this tiny piece of garlic bread. Garlic and onions can be toxic, but we only see these effects when ingested in large amounts.

The noodles will be fine, but if the spaghetti sauce contained onions and garlic, I would monitor Chi-Chi for now. Garlic and onions are toxic to dogs, but if it's a small amount, she should be ok. Signs to look out for include increased respiratory rate, vomiting, reduced appetite, pale mucous membranes, and increased heart rate. If you see any of those signs, please take Chi-Chi into your vet right away.

This is likely not enough garlic to pose a serious risk of toxicity. At worst, you may see some mild stomach upset. Withhold food for 24 hours and feed a bland diet in small, frequent amount until symptoms resolve.

This may result though in gastrointestinal upset. Watch your pup for symptoms consistent with gastrointestinal upset such as vomiting, inappetence and/or diarrhea. If it was only seasoned with garlic powder it likely won't cause any problems, however the other seasoning ingredients could cause some minor digestive upset such as vomiting or diarrhea. Uncooked rice itself may also cause bloating if a lot was eaten. You can feed a bland diet of boiled rice and chicken if your dog only ate a little and has minor GI upset, however if you see persistent vomiting or diarrhea, blood in the vomit or diarrhea, a bloated or painful abdomen, or your pup seems in severe distress, seeking veterinary care ASAP is best.

Hi there. There wouldn't be enough garlic on a couple of handfuls of chips to cause any toxicity issues, and Parmesan and peas are not toxic to dogs - so she should be just fine :) I would monitor her for the next few hours to be safe, and make sure she has access to plenty of fresh water since the chips were probably salty. She may have some mild GI upset if she isn't used to eating human food, but otherwise I would not expect any significant problems.
