My dog ate a small piece of onion. Is a tiny amount harmful to her?

Nova sneakily ate a piece of onion, it was small piece equivalent to kibble. I am panicked

For this small amount of onion, I think Nova will be just fine. Larger amounts of onion or garlic can cause damage to her red blood cells. If you notice any concerning symptoms, you should have her examined by your vet.
