My 3-month-old puppy ate rat poison. Is she in danger? What do I do?

My 3 month old dog ate a small peice of Brodifacoum, is she in big danger? I don’t know what to do.

Hi there and thank you for posting on Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.

Brodifacoum is a anticoagulant commonly used in rodenticides and is toxic to both dogs and cats. Even a small amount can be toxic. My best advice is to call the Pet Poison Hotline as soon as possible for further guidance and assistance. They can be reached 24/7 at 855-764-7661.
