My dog ate a raisin cookie and has a heart murmur. Is she safe?

Pet's info: Dog | Pit Bull Terrier | Female | unspayed | 6 years and 6 months old | 95 lbs

My husband gave Dahlia a pie of cookie. It contained almost last raisin paste. Molasses cookie. She has a stage 2 heart murmur. Not good for her to throw up. Will she be alright

Since we don't know the exact amount of raisins needed to cause kidney failure, it is always best to seek veterinary care immediately. Unless Dahlia is in congestive heart failure, I would not see a reason to prevent induction of vomiting in a vet office. I would not induce vomiting at home.
