My 70lb dog ate 5mg oxycodone. Should I rush her to the animal clinic?

If Zeus ate the tablet in the last hour I’d recommend seeing an emergency vet for them to induce vomiting and hopefully recover part of the tablet. If it has been longer than that you could monitor at home, but if you notice that Zeus is becoming sedate to the point that you cannot get him to stand up you should head to a vet. If the tablet had any other medications (like acetominophen) then there might be other concerns - repost your question and specify how much.

The dosage for a dog her size is 10mg, so she ingested two times this amount. however studies have shown no serious adverse effect with double that dose so i believe she will be fine. symptoms you should expect: vomiting, lethargy and diarrhea.
