My dog ate a mango seed. Is it safe, especially after puppies?

Hello, my female cane corso ate mango seed hour before, there is no choking bafter she ate seed, I gave her dinner after that, now I am not worried about it , please help me, she gave birth to 12 puppies month ago.

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Lisa. Mango pits are fairly large and have the potential to cause an intestinal obstruction. I recommend that she sees a veterinarian. X-rays will likely be taken. If the pit becomes lodged in her stomach or intestines, she will unfortunately need surgery to remove it. I hope this information helps. Good luck!

    Mango pits are a choking hazard and could create an intestinal blockage if consumed. The pit also contains cyanide, which is toxic to dogs. If he actually ate the pits then yes, this is an emergency. If he just chewed them, he may be fine. I think it is best you consult with your local vet. This article may help you more:
