My dog ate a lychee seed. Is it poisonous? What should I do next?

Cherry pits do contain trace amounts of cyanide, which is toxic to dogs - but normally, even a small dog like a Yorkie would have to eat a large number of them to cause a problem. The amount is very small, so even a small dog would have to eat a large amount of seeds to have any problem with that. The second concern is the possibility of an intestinal blockage if they are not able to pass the seeds. This lichen is likely fungus, and while most types of fungi are mildly or non toxic, there are some kinds that can cause severe symptoms such as vomiting, diarrhea, lack of appetite, and abdominal pain. You could take her into a vet now to have vomiting induced with a shot to get the lichen out of her stomach and take away any risk of toxicity. You can also choose to monitor her over the next 24-48 hours, and if you see any of the symptoms I mentioned above, take her into a vet immediately for treatment. I hope this helps!

Poinciana plants can be toxic to dogs. It can cause drooling, vomiting, diarrhea, in-coordination, liver, and kidney damage. If your are positive she only ate a small part and it has been two hours without any abnormal signs then she might be fine.
