My dog ate a kiwi peel. Is it safe? What should I do right now?

While I was in the shower, Tucker got into my trash and ate an entire kiwi peel. What do I do?

Kiwis are not toxic, so that is not a concern. I think that if he swallowed the entire peel without chewing, there could be risk of intestinal blockage. Your options at this point would be:
1. Take Tucker to an emergency vet to induce vomiting
2. Watch and see. Signs of intestinal blockage include lethargy, vomiting, decreased appetite, diarrhea, or no stools.
If he did chew up the peel before eating, then it should pass without much concern.
