Hi there! Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! How likely Ziggy is to be affected by this depends on how much chocolate he ingested relative to his weight. If it the typical size of galaxy minstrels made how they are typically made, then it is likely that Ziggy will be fine. It really comes down to how much was ingested. Some of the clinical signs that can be noted include gastrointestinal signs such as vomiting and diarrhea all the way down to even neurologic signs such as tremors and seizures and cardiac arrhythmias in severe cases. I recommend that you have Ziggy evaluated by your veterinarian if you think that the amount he ate is too much based on the galaxy minstrels being bigger than typical or for example being made of dark chocolate. At the very least, his vitals can be checked to ensure they are normal. I really hope that everything goes well! Good luck!

    Blackberries are not toxic, actually they contain a lot of antioxidants and are quite healthy for both us and our pets!

    I see that Galaxy Minstrels contain milk chocolate. Since I don't know Ziggy's exact weight, I guessed that he weighed 30 pounds (about 15kg). Since I don't know the exact weight of 2 candies, I guessed that he ate about 1oz (about 28g). If this sounds accurate, then Ziggy should be just fine! If the actual numbers are quite different than what I guessed, post a new question with more accurate information and we can tell you if you need to be worried.

    Please note that even if it isn't toxic, chocolate contains sugar which can cause hyperactivity, nausea, and diarrhea, and I would not recommend giving Ziggy any more!

You can expect mild gastrointestinal upset (vomiting, diarrhea or decreased appetite). The amount is not enough to cause serious toxicity in a 15lb dog, but you should still monitor for tremors, increased heart rate, hyperactivity or seizures. Minor GI upset can usually be managed at home with a 24 hour fast followed by a bland diet in small, frequent amounts until symptoms resolve. Ideally, Mojito should be examined by your veterinarian or at the nearest veterinary ER. Either can induce vomiting if the ingestion has happened in the last two hours, then administer activated charcoal to further inhibit absorption.

The toxic dose for milk chocolate is about 5g per each pound of body weight. So, your Stella would have to eat about 70g of milk chocolate before we would recommend any treatment. She should be fine, I don't expect she will develop any concerning symptoms at all

Most dogs will not have any clinical signs with milk chocolate until it reaches about a little more than an oz per 10 pounds. So, even if the milk chocolate truffle was 4oz, she should still be OK. Of course, the darker the chocolate the less they can tolerate. I would not induce vomiting at this small amount of consumption. I hope this eases your mind. There is very little cocoa in these eggs, so a dog Coco's size will most likely be fine. You can watch for any signs of GI upset (vomiting, diarrhea) that can come anytime a dog gets into something they're not used to eating. If you're concerned, you can reach out to your vet and they can help give Coco a medication to make her vomit and get the chocolate out of her stomach, to minimize the risk of later developing GI symptoms.
