My chihuahua ate foam, won't eat/drink, lethargic. Is it serious?

You should be concerned. There may some of that foreign material/bedding stuck in his stomach or intestines causing a blockage. This can be very serious. I would consider this an emergency. Please get Chikodi to a vet as soon as you can. Not eating and diarrhea can get a 7# puppy extremely dehydrated which can be life threatening.

I would be very concerned that Pearl's symptoms are caused by a pyometra, which is a life threatening infection of the uterus. That would cause her to vomit, become anorexic, and be very lethargic. A pyometra is fatal without treatment, and the prognosis of pyometras depending on how fast she gets treatment. The longer treatment is delayed, the worse the outcome will be because the dog gets progressively sicker. Her symptoms could also be caused by a severe GI illness, eating something rotten, a foreign body, liver disease, kidney failure, or cancer. Oso needs to go to the veterinarian today for an exam and radiographs to check for an intestinal blockage. Intestinal blockages are fatal without treatment.
