It depends on the quantity ingested. That could eventually caused gastrointestinal inflammation (resulting in vomiting and diarrhoea) or gastrointestinal obstruction.
I would definitively recommend a veterinary check up if you notice diarrhoea, vomiting, lethargy or inappetence.

Lil d certainly picked a strange thing to eat. Based on my quick research, it appears the active ingredients in this are Zinc and Calcium. Both of these, if consumed in high enough quantities can be toxic to a dog's health. In this case, with Lil d being such a small breed and the package not listing the amount of either of these chemicals, I would tend to want to air on the side of caution. The first thing I would do is contact the Pet Poison Help Line. The telephone number is 855-764-7661. The cost of the call is about 60 dollars but they will be able to tell you without a doubt whether or not a visit to vet is going to be required, and if you should try to induce vomiting or not at home. Both zinc and calcium toxicity can be very serious and result in disastrous consequences if they go untreated. Please give them a call to see if Lil D is going to be OK.

This is very concerning and how much it will affect Louis will depend on how much was ingested (it comes in packs of different sizes) and how much he weighs. However, it is always best to be cautious as chocolate toxicity is a potentially serious toxicity which can lead to severe complications and even death. Again this will depend on the amount ingested relative to the patient's size. Some of the common complications include gastrointestinal signs, arrhythmia and seizures. If he just ate, a veterinarian may still be able to induce vomiting to at least retrieve some. I recommend that you have him evaluated by your local emergency clinic as soon as possible for further assessment and treatment. Good luck!

Hi, was the dental gel for dogs ? I doubt the diarrhoea was caused by it as the timeframe between the gel ingestion and diarrhoea is too small. It is more likely that Chi has picked up a virus or a bug that cause gastro-enteritis. Try to offer a bland diet and you could offer some probiotics.

My dog ate a human gummy multivitamin. Should I be worried?

If it is a ''gummy'' tablet it may cause gastrointestinal signs such as vomiting or diarrhea. The toxicity from the single components (Vitamins, mineral etc etc) depends on their concentration. Generally speaking it should be a major concern as the concentration is quite low. If there is xylitol inside the tablet that may be dangerous, and in case of ingestion, your dog needs to be seen by a veterinarian. The ingestion of xylitol or xylitol-containing products causes a rapid release of the hormone insulin, causing a sudden decrease in the dog's blood glucose. Signs to look for are: lethargy, vomiting, loss of coordination, collapse, and eventually seizures.

Hello, thank you for your question about Gigi. Chocolate is toxic to dogs and the toxicity can lead to a severity of symptoms. Depending on when Gigi ate the chocolate and how many ounces of chocolate she ate relative to her weight can determine the likelihood of developing any toxicity. The first signs of toxicity include vomiting/diarrhea, if a large amount was ingested symptoms can progressive to anxiety, tremoring, or seizures. For a small dog like Gigi, even a small amount like 4-5 chunks, could lead to severe side effects. I contacting ASPCA Poison Control who can provide more guided information regarding the dose that Gigi ingested and make recommendations for treatment/veterinary care. There is a fee for their service. Alternatively, you could have Gigi seen by your veterinarian so that they can examine her and determine the need for additional treatments. I would not be overly worried about this. The small amount of nutmeg used in recipes is very unlikely to cause serious toxicity, though mild stomach upset could occur if a small amount is ingested.
