My dog ate chocolate, high heart rate after vet. What should I do?

It's difficult to know how much the actual cocoa content is in this, but my estimate is that it would be at-most enough to cause a moderate to severe reaction. Rosie is already showing signs of a mild reaction, which is hyperactivity. Further signs of toxicity can be vomiting, tremors and seizures. If you notice any of these signs, then it's best to take Rosie to a vet for treatment/monitoring, because chocolate toxicity can be deadly. Unfortunately, there is not much that can be done at home for this. It's best to make sure she has plenty of water and that you check her every two hours for any further signs of toxicity. That's a fair amount of chocolate, and if any of those chocolates were dark chocolate, that is very concerning. Dark chocolate is the most toxic type, and takes the least amount to cause toxicity. I am sorry Chico is sick. Chocolate at high doses can cause sever gastric upset. I am concerned that the continued vomiting will cause dehydration and issues with kidney function. I would recommend taking Chico to the vet for medications to stop the vomiting and rehydrate him. Also I would start an over the counter anti acid to help calm down his stomach. You can try a bland diet of boiled chicken and white rice once his vomiting has stopped. I hope that helps and Chico feels better soon

Chocolate toxicity has n effect on the brain and heart, it can cause long term heart condition which might be the source of the symptoms Tink is having, you must take her to the vet urgently to have an ECG done.

Poor thing! I would still take her in for care as IV fluids would be very helpful for the neurological signs and also to support the kidneys. At this stage everything is absorbed and in the bloodstream so treatment needs to be focused on diuresis.
