My baby guinea pig has a dried umbilical cord. Should I cut it?

Pet's info: Small Animal | Guinea Pig | Female | unspayed | 1.36 lbs

Hello my guinea pig gave birth to three pups yesterday on of the babies still have a dried ‏ Umbilical Cord and I think it’s bother him/her (should I cut it or should I leave it?)

Thanks for reaching out about Chanel. You should leave it alone. The umbilical cords with continue to dry and fall off. Clipping could allow an infection to enter the body and could potentially lead to a serious infection. The mother should take care of things.
