When to handle newborn guinea pigs? Mom didn't eat placenta, worried.

Hi my female guinea pig have birth to 3 babies yesterday morning how long is it before i can handle them? And also she hasnt ate the placenta should i be worried

Ideally, they should not be handled for the first two weeks of life. Squeak will eventually eat the placentas but if she doesn't, you can carefully remove any uneaten portions to keep the cage clean.
