How often should I clean my new puppy's skin folds and wrinkles?

Pet's info: Dog | Pug | Male | unneutered | 1 month and 11 days old | 2 lbs

I will be taking José in a few weeks, and I am just wondering how often I should clean his wrinkles.

You'll want to be sure to keep them as clean and dry as possible. If you notice any odor or if he's been outside sweating you'll want to wipe them with a warm damp cloth. For regular cleaning at least once a week. Let your doctor know if you find any redness, discharge, or build up. It's not uncommon to find yeast infections developing within the toes or wrinkles.

    Congratulations on your new addition! I recommend cleaning all of José's skin folds 1-2 times per day, depending upon the depth of the folds. Start by cleaning the folds once daily and increase the frequency as he ages and the folds become deeper. Enjoy your new little puppy!
