Very small 12 oz chihuahua puppy. Breeder fed Royal Canin puppy and canned puppy food. I have had her for 1 week. She was eating her food, with water added. Now she doesn't like it. Also having trouble getting her to drink water. I finally used an eye dropper and she is talking water from that. She is just 2 months old. What over puppy food is best for her breed? Any do you have any ideas to help her?

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Bella is adorable!
If she is lethargic and not acting herself I recommend taking her to a Vet. If she is acting otherwise okay then I would try a different brand of puppy food, get canned if you have been feeding dry and dry if you have been feeding canned. Try some meat flavored baby foods. I would also have a stool sample checked for intestinal parasites as that is a common cause of problems in small breed dogs. If none of the above works she needs a Vet exam. Toy breed puppies that do not eat are at risk for low blood sugar which is life threatening.
I wish you the best!
