Why is my chihuahua puppy peeing on my bed after going outside?

I would recommend neutering Choco. This may be behavioral. I would also check blood work on him to make sure that his kidneys are functioning properly. After checking his blood work and neutering him then I would recommend crate training Choco. This means leaving Choco in a cage when you cannot 100% watch him. Hi, puppies can get urinary tract infections. I would watch her for urinating more frequently and in small amounts. At 7 months, she should be mostly house trained so this is not likely a behavior issue but it is still possible. I would take her to the vet for an exam if it happens a third time. They can put her on some antibiotics for this and she should be fine. Good luck!

Does Sophie spend every night in your bedroom / on your bed? If not, and Sundays are the only night she does, she may be doing this as part of a behavioral problem because she knows you are leaving the following day. I would also consider a urinary tract infection as a possibility. However, this would be less likely as it does not sound like the accidents are consistent. I would discourage this behavior by crate training her or keeping her in a separate area and not on your bed or in your bedroom. This may encourage independence and might correct the behavior. If this continues despite crate training or keeping her in a separate room, I would contact your veterinarian and set up an appointment to have her urine tested and an examination performed. I would recommend to rule out something like an infection in Presley's bladder before you give up on her. Since she can't talk, you don't know the reasoning behind this behavior. The veterinarian will look at her urine sample to see if there are any abnormalities which may cause this behavior. Go from there. If it does look to be more behavioral, speak with a trainer, read some books about housebreaking difficult dogs. Most dogs can be properly housebroken but not all learn in the same fashion. If this is a relatively new problem, Nikki may have an underlying medical condition - like a urinary tract infection. I suggest you have her examined by your vet and have a urine test done to check for infection or other underlying medical problem. If you can rule out a medical problem then you can assume it is behavioral, in which case, you should consult with a professional, in-home dog trainer. It is very hard to potty train a dog this age without professional help.

There could be a medical reason as to why Chevy is suddenly urinating in the home. This could be caused by a UTI or bladder stones. I would give your vet a call today to set up an appointment for her to be seen by her vet. The vet can do a physical exam, blood tests, and a urinalysis to diagnose if she does have a medical cause behind her urinating in the home, and can prescribe a treatment for it.
