We're feeding dogs in our community pound for 2 weeks now, neglected by our local government. 1 dog was pregnant when she was admitted in the pound& we didnt know she was pregnant at first. When we came at the pound the other day, we saw 3 puppies, one was dead, other is okay &the other one fell on a pipe. It took me &my sister over 3 hours to get the puppy out. Mama dog was claimed by the owner & owner left the puppies. Now we don't have any idea how to properly for newborn puppies? Thanks!

It's best to get dog milk replacer for them. This can be found at the pet store. If you are not able to find it, then you can feed cow or goat milk instead, but it is not as good for them.
