In general, we tend to treat this problem by teaching the dog to associate good things with people entering a room - often, very tasty treats :) My first thought is that you may need to use higher value treats if he isn't interested in eating them when you try this - things like chicken, roast beef, or string cheese are often good choices for this type of training. If he still will not take treats in this situation, then this means that he's too worried or anxious to eat - in that case, you will need to find a way to make the situation easier for him (possibly by removing him from the room until the person sits down and gets settled, then bringing him back in), or he may need anti-anxiety medication in the beginning to help. Since it can be difficult to do this on your own, it would be best to make an appointment with a veterinary behaviorist or a good reward-based trainer who can help you in person. I agree that curbing this behavior is a good idea. The best thing to do would be to train Rey to go to a specific location when someone enters the house. She should be trained to sit and wait until you call her. Begin training with just her. Then introduce the other dog on a leash with a helper. This will take some time and the guidance of a professional trainer may facilitate and speed things up. It's likely that Ivy is just really excited and showing this by barking. Obviously this is unwanted behavior. You need to start training impulse control and teaching her to sit or place before people come over. Treat her for calm behavior and slowly progress to gradually introducing people when she is well behaved. If she is barking she gets ignored as petting her cuddling her will encourage it.

I recommend having Lilly in the crate when people come over. When they are inside and settled then let her out of the crate to greet them. They should not focus on her just continue socially with you. If she's calm they can pat her but I wouldn't do anything to get her excited. Over time she'll learn that when she's under control she can be with visitors. If she gets too excited then I would put her outside or back into the crate, This is not punishment per se but rather a time out until she can control her behavior. One way to train him to behave when visitors come is to get him a dog mat. Place it where he can see visitors but not near the door or where they will be sitting. Train him to go to his mat on the command "MAT!" Then teach him to stay there until you release him (use a release word such as "okay" to let him know his stay is over).
