My new beagle puppy is sneezing and not pooping. What should I do?

Intestinal worms are common in puppies, and that could be the cause of her diarrhea. She could have a respiratory infection or irritation of the nasal passages causing the reverse sneezing. Since she has not gotten better, it's time to see a vet. I'd take her into one in the morning. Best of luck.

Hi. He may be sneezing. You can talk to your veterinarian about an antihistamine. If he's a puppy, it is common for them to eat there own poop. There is a powder called forbid that can help them stop that habit. In the meantime, I would keep him on a leash to potty and pick up the feces right away. Playbiting is also common in puppies. I would say no firmly, ignore him, and redirect him to something he can chew on. As far as the pottying, you may need to add more pads, and also take him out every 1 to 2 hours and use positive reinforcement when he does it right. Good luck

I recommend to take your puppy in to have an exam. Although something like a cold or a virus is a very common cause of sneezing, if you notice it more after eating or drinking that can be suspicious for a cleft palate. The doctor needs to take a good look inside her mouth and make sure that her hard palate appears normal. I hope this helps and please feel free to post any additional questions!

Congratulations on your new puppy! Sneezing and nasal discharge can be a sign of an upper respiratory infection, which requires treatment by a veterinarian. Diarrhea can be observed with conditions such as colitis, gastroenteritis, dietary indiscretion, intestinal parasites, among many other possibilities. Sneezing can definitely be due to allergies and that is probably the most common reason. Some medications for allergies can be started for this to be used on an as needed basis. If her diarrhea or sneezing persist, I recommend that you have Irie evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. They may choose to check for parasites and to start medications for diarrhea and/or allergies depending on the results of needed. Good luck! Hoping for a speedy recovery!

Hello. I would take this as a day by day. Pixie may have a little cold, but if she is acting & eating well, it may just need to run its course. I would definitely keep your appointment on Friday, but if she does still have a cold, your vet may put off any vaccinations for a few days longer.
