Hi, my beagle pup got red eyes for a very long time. There is a red layer below the eyelid and it sometimes covers most of the eye. Please it will be really helpful if any clarification can be given on this.

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! It’s hard to be sure from the pictures but if you are referencing the fleshy pink part at the lower and inside are of the eye, that is normal tissue called the third eyelid. Some dogs have more droopy eyelids so you can see more of the third eyelid. In the picture you attached everything looks normal. I hope this helps! Kisses to Jax!
