What are the best absorbent and affordable liners for dog belly bands?

Updated on September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Pomeranian | Male | neutered | 4.8 lbs

my 17 yr. old 5 # Pomeranian (neutered male) has to wear a male wrap, due to frequent wetting in the house... but can wriggle out of it...I found the Vet's Best Perfect Fit ...which sounds like it would work well, but I need a liner that is really absorbent to put in it... What would you suggest? (that's affordable)?

Hi there and thanks for posting on Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach!

Some pet stores do sell liners for female diapers and belly bands. However, some of these are a little expensive. You can try your local wholesale retailer (like a Sam's Club or Costco) for generic sanitary pads for women than may fit nicely and work well.
